Scientific Interest
DNA and chromatin, or pseudochromatin, structures regulate numerous biological and pathogenic mechanisms as bacterial integrons mobilisation or retroviral integration. These processes constitute therapeutic target and attractive tools for gene transfer/therapy. Our team aims to understand these mechanisms in different models of mobile elements (viral infections, procaryotic, eukaryotic and viral integration/transposition) using complementary biophysics, biochemistry, structural/cellular biology and pharmacology approaches.
